Yacht Club Games has announced that Mina the Hollower will launch digitally on May 29th for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 1 & 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Humble Store. Yacht Club’s mouse adventure was originally slated for release last Halloween, and when they had to delay it, chose not to pin down a date until they were confident.
A trailer dovetailed the announcement, giving players a brief look at the 8-bit adventure game, in pixel motion and spooky commotions. Check it out below!
Mina The Hollower puts players in the role of the titular Mina, a Hollower set on rescuing an island cursed with supernatural woes. The game looks to fuse 8-bit action and retro aesthetics reminiscent of the Game Boy Color, anchored in modern action game design sensibilities.
