Elden Ring Tarnished Edition Brings Grace to Nintendo Switch 2 on August 28th

After a sizeable delay, Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware have announced that Elden Ring Tarnished Edition will release on Nintendo Switch 2 on August 28th. The game will include the base game and the acclaimed Shadow of the Erdtree expansion alongside new content created specifically for this version. Check out its initial announcement trailer below!

As mentioned above, Elden Ring Tarnished Edition will include new content in the form of two new starting classes, armour options, and the ability to customise the beloved Torrent, your spectral steed in exploring the Lands Between.

FromSoftware has confirmed that players will be able to purchase the exclusive content for other platforms when Elden Ring Tarnished Edition launches.

Elden Ring brings players into the Lands Between, where they take on the role of a Tarnished. As a Tarnished, they will explore a continent in pursuit of ancient secrets and a history long past, guided by the allure of becoming an Elden Lord. Players will utilise a vast array of weapons and abilities to craft a variety of combat playstyles beyond spell-slinging and simple sword-swinging. See a portion of the official synopsis below:

Elden Ring Tarnished Edition will launch on August 28th for Nintendo Switch 2. It is currently available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
