Cassette Beasts 2002 Brings Pixellated Mysteries & Monsters Galore in March 2027 to PC & Console

Raw Fury and developer Bytten Studio have announced that Cassette Beasts 2002 will launch in March 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The announcement came via a new trailer spotlighting some of the game’s voice cast amidst pixellated battling and adventure:

Cassette Beasts 2002 will sport voice acting, with some of the cast listed below, bringing life to some of the characters seen above:

Cassette Beasts 2002 puts players into the role of an unnamed protagonist who recently moved to a quiet neighbourhood in London. Through a series of strange events, they’re swept away to the land of Nodnol, where pixellated beasts roam and mysteries abound. In Nodnol, players will record beasts to capture on cassette tapes, fight in turn-based battles, explore pixellated environs, and more. For a further list of features, check out below:

After arriving in a quiet neighbourhood of London, you soon find yourself pulled down a rabbit hole to Nodnol, a land of beasts and high strangeness that exists in the shadow of our own. When the past collides with the present, one question must be answered: Who is the mysterious occultist Westerley, and what are they planning for both worlds?
