RPGFan Volunteer Drive: 2026 Edition

RPGFan Volunteer Drive 2026

I thought about titling this post “RPGFan Seeks Fresh Blood” in the spirit of spooky season, but I didn’t want to a) scare anyone off that we want your blood, or b) suggest we’re organizing a community blood drive. One would be weird, and one would be extremely helpful… but really, we’re just looking for new writers!

Somehow it’s been almost three years since our last official volunteer drive at RPGFan. We’ve been fortunate enough to add several talented people to our ranks in the intervening years regardless, and we’re glad they have come on board! Often, we find great people by word of mouth, referrals, and sometimes, by readers and fans who just want to take their shot.

But while we have several areas of the site covered thanks to long-term staff and newer people, there are some areas of the site we’re finding ourselves in need of additional hands for. Those needs are strongest in our News and Social Media departments.

If you’re interested in being considered for RPGFan in another role, we are still open to discussing, but those are the areas we’re hoping to fortify soonest. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, please use the button below to fill out an application. If you want to apply but aren’t sure the best fit for your talents/experience, you can use the “General / Other / Unsure” option and tell us about yourself.

This Volunteer Drive will be open until October 24th, 2026 at 11:59pm ET. Be sure to get your application in before then!

Depending on the volume of applicants, we expect to respond to all applicants by early November.

REMINDER: As outlined in the application and our Work With Us page, RPGFan is run by volunteers, and no financial compensation will be provided. Please keep this in mind if you choose to apply.

Be part of the conversation and join us on our Discord, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
