AVILION was an online mobile RPG released in Japan in 2004 that ran until 2013. The original developers revived the title as AVILION forever, replacing the multiplayer and online components to create a “story-focused, offline, single-player RPG with no gacha and no ads.” The Switch version displays like a classic retro RPG with sidebars, while the iOS and Android versions — in portrait mode — features a frame reminiscent of a classic feature phone’s buttons.
