Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX Brings Added Evolutions, Mega Evolutions to Nintendo Switch in March

The upcoming release of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX will bring enhanced re-imaginings of the action-packed adventures from both Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team to Nintendo Switch with a stunning new watercolor art style, over 400 Pokémon to encounter, and some more additions which are sure to please new and returning adventurers alike when it releases for Nintendo Switch on March 6th. You can see the latest trailer for the game below to get a small glimpse of what to expect!

In addition to adding in evolutions that hadn’t yet been discovered when the original versions of these two dungeon-crawling adventures released back in 2006, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX will add Mega Evolutions for Pokémon like Charizard, Gengar, Sableye, Gardevoir, and more for players to discover.

As adventurers forge their way through the randomly generated dungeons found within the game, they will want to strategically utilize attacks and items, like Blast Seeds, Gravelerocks, and Oran Berries, to aid in the treacherous traversal of these sprawling caverns. Feed your Pokémon companions Gummis to teach them useful skills, or recruit rare Pokémon with special abilities, to further aid you in your exploits.

If you’ve never experienced a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon title, or if you’d just like to sample what’s on offer in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX before the game hits shelves next month, a free demo version is available to download now from the Nintendo Switch eShop. Save data from the demo can also be transferred over to the release version, so players can pick up where they left off and carry on with their Pokémon pals.

The game is also available to pre-purchase both on the Nintendo Switch eShop and through Nintendo’s official website. For a limited time, My Nintendo members who opt to claim their digital copy ahead of release will be eligible for a special 600 Gold Coin promotion — which is twice the normal amount.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch on March 6th.
