The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki Releases in Japan on August 27th

The Legend of Heroes fans, we have a release date! The latest entry in the series, The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki, releases in Japan on August 27th. The news was revealed in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu.

With this news comes a few more tidbits about the game itself. A new super attack, Variant Age, will be available in a party of five or more characters. The attack, which can also recover HP and BP, can be triggered after destroying objects outside of battles. Destroying said objects builds a gauge that can then be used up to three or four times in a single battle. The effect of Variant Age depends on the number of participants in battle, which can be up to 10.

Characters

  • Arios MacLaine (voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa) – Lynn, Scott, and Aeolia as well. Mainly active in Crossbell.
  • Rixia Mao (voiced by Rina Sato) – She is aspiring to become an artists. While mainly active as a party member, she devotes herself to her dream.
  • Zeit (voiced by Osamu Ryutani) – His disguise takes the form of a dog.
  • Ilya Platiere (voiced by Yuu Asakawa) – Plays a bigger role than in The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki and Ao no Kiseki.
  • Matteus Vander (voiced by Rikiya Koyama) – Involved with Rean in a different way than Aurier.
  • Aurier Vander (voiced by Yukana) – Strong and scary-looking.
  • F. Novartis (voiced by Mitsuaki Madono) – Vita Clotilde as well.

Members of the Society will also appear, and unexpected developments between characters that appeared in the past may also come to light.

The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki will launch on the PlayStation 4. Though we do not know when the game will be localized, stay tuned to RPGFan as we learn more!
