Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Coming in 2021

During the recent Xbox Games Showcase, SEGA dropped a major announcement: their successful MMORPG Phantasy Star Online 2, which recently made its long-awaited western debut, will be getting a complete overhaul. Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will completely rebuild the graphics engine and gameplay systems of the original PSO2, creating the “ultimate” experience and the next evolution of the Phantasy Star Online universe.

In North America, New Genesis will be available for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. In Japan, on the other hand, the game will be for PS4 and PC, alongside a cloud version for Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more coverage of Phantasy Star!
