Atlus and Vanillaware’s long-anticipated 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is finally here, and we have a new launch trailer to go with it! This unique strategy/visual novel hybrid title is quite the departure for developer Vanillaware, but still features the gorgeous artwork we’ve come to expect from them. The new trailer also includes some of the game’s English voice acting, which is being added via a day 1 patch that can be downloaded now.

Gotta say, 13 Sentinels has certainly come a long way since it was a cardboard booth at E3 2017 and we were all convinced it might just be an elaborate marketing campaign for Death Stranding (long story). Anyways, give the video a watch below!

  • Beautifully rendered in Vanillaware’s signature hand-painted visual style.
  • Uncover a deep story through visions of the past and the future.
  • The doomsday clock is ticking! Become a Sentinel pilot, customize your mech, and fight waves of kaiju in top-down tactical combat.

If you’d like to know more about 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, head on over to our review by the indominable Alana Hagues! In it, she describes Vanillaware’s latest as “an epic that relishes in the everyday” that’s “hard not to love.” And if you’re so inclined, we also have a handy video review as well!
