Square Enix and developer Toylogic have announced the returning and new voice cast for the English version of the upcoming remaster NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… via a new announcement trailer. The trailer is age restricted, but you can watch it on YouTube by clicking the link above.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… will mark the first-time release of NieR Replicant in the West as one of two versions of the base game originally released in 2010. The two are separated by the age of the protagonist: older in NieR Gestalt or younger in NieR Replicant. As noted in the trailer, acting duties for the younger protagonist within NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… will be shared between venerable voice actors Ray Chase (Final Fantasy XV, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) and Zach Aguilar (13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, A.I: The Somnium Files). Alongside the young protagonist, veteran voice actors Laura Bailey (Critical Role, Dragon Ball Z) Liam O’Brien (Critical Role, Persona 3), Julie Ann Taylor (Persona 4, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III), and Eden Riegel Miller (Persona 5, Yakuza: Like A Dragon) have returned to voice Kainé, Grimoire Weiss, Emil, and Devola and Popola respectively, having previously given their voices to these five iconic characters in NieR Gestalt.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 seeks to bring the original entry of the NieR franchise into the modern age with updated graphics and modern combat controls akin to its sequel NieR Automata. It tells a story of hope, loss, love, and strength within a world both familiar and strange, where books can fly and shadows reign.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 is set to release on April 23rd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

@KNN005 If you're talking about the screenshot, it must be from the very start of the game where we didn't spend much time.
