Fans may be hungry for the next iteration of Final Fantasy VII Remake, but in the meantime, we have the tasty-looking Intergrade to look forward to! Square Enix has released a longer trailer detailing the features of the upgraded PlayStation 5 version in more depth.
Although quite similar to the original shown in February, it lays out more side-by-side comparisons with the PS4 version, as well as giving us more details on the additional lighting and fog effects. Additionally, the video features greater exploration of photo mode, showing how players can freeze the action and then rotate, zoom, and pan the camera for dynamic poses, and what some of the differences between optimizing the game for 4K or 60 FPS looks like in different situations. It also gives us a look at the new “Normal” difficulty mode, which promises to bring the game more in line with a classic FFVII experience, with a more methodical pace to combat.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is set to release on June 10th, 2021, with a free upgrade being available for all PS4 owners (except those who have it via PlayStation Plus). The additional story content featuring Yuffie can then be purchased separately. You can check out the game’s official website for more details.
