Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake Officially Announced at Sony Showcase

Darth Revan lights up his lightsaber in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake.

Darth Revan is coming back! Hinted at briefly back in April in an interview with Jason Schreier, Sony officially revealed Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake during their PlayStation Showcase 2021 event.

While the teaser trailer is brief, watch a beautiful render of the game’s Darth Revan as Jennifer Hale’s Bastila Shan narrates:

We don’t know much about the title just yet. Developer Aspyr is involved as well as Lucasfilm Games. With their previous work porting Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic to different platforms, the remake should be in good hands. Original developer BioWare was not mentioned in the trailer.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake is announced for PlayStation 5, but we will let you know when we hear if and when the title will grace other platforms. In the meantime, you can check out the original game on Android, iOS, PC, Mac, Linux, and Xbox. We have five (!!!) reviews, but here’s a look at our first review from 2003 by former Editor-in-Chief John McCarroll.
