Hot off the heels of the announcement that Sora would be the newest playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Square Enix announced that the entire Kingdom Hearts saga thus far will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. There’s a catch, however: they’re cloud releases, meaning that in order to play these games, you’ll be streaming them.

As with previous rereleases, the games will be bundled together into their respective collections. That’s Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 + II.5 HD ReMix, Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III + ReMind. Each collection can be purchased separately, or you can get them all with the… Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece for Cloud bundle. Those sure are words!

Okay, in all seriousness, I’m glad that the series’ back catalog is being made available for Switch owners, even if it is via slightly less than optimal format. Square Enix also released a brand-new anniversary trailer, which you can check out below.
