Nacon to Acquire Lord of the Rings: Gollum Partner, Daedalic Entertainment

Nacon is set to acquire Daedalic Entertainment in a €53 million purchase. The deal is currently slated to take effect sometime in 2022.

This deal will provide Nacon with access to various Daedalic Entertainment properties, such as the Deponia franchise. According to Nacon, Daedalic Entertainment’s founder and COO will continue to manage the company.

This acquisition comes as Daedalic Entertainment and Nacon work together on the upcoming Lord of the Rings: Gollum. The Daedalic Entertainment acquisition represents the second recent purchase by Nacon, who acquired Midgar Studio earlier this year. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more details!
