Here’s Our First, Tantalizing Peek at Yakuza 8

Ichiban from Yakuza: Like a Dragon, will also feature in Yakuza 8

We finally have concrete proof that Yakuza 8 exists. An MMA fighter slash YouTuber named Mikuru Asakura posted a YouTube video of himself touring SEGA’s studio, and he shared a few behind-the-scenes shots of the game. Also, he’s going to be in it. Check it out below; just know it’s all in Japanese.

Here’s some other useful tidbits, thanks to Famitsu and Twitter user Nibel (@Nibellion). Yakuza 8 will feature a new town, and lead protagonist Ichiban has his hair tied back—at least in the shot we caught. Namba and Adachi are in the game, too.
