Over Ten Million People Have Pre-Registered to Play Honkai: Star Rail

If there was any doubt in your heart that Honkai: Star Rail would have a solid launch, pray remove that doubt posthaste, because HoYoverse’s upcoming free-to-play sci-fi RPG has crossed the ten-million mark nearly two weeks before launch.

That’s over ten million players primed and ready to take a train to space and — considering how many hours of one’s life Genshin Impact can consume — pretty much never look back. Genshin Impact, HoYoverse’s fantasy-themed 2020 RPG, has seen substantial updates through the years with little reason to presume support for the seven nations of Teyvat will end anytime soon.

The publisher is keen to capitalize on this mega-milestone, with a brand-new pre-registration reward in the form of 20 Star Rail Passes and the four-star Serval Landeau. A rock star like Serval’s a fitting pick for such a celebratory pre-release performance, methinks.

If you haven’t yet joined the masses in their space exodus, you can complete your own pre-registry through HoYoverse’s official site. Honkai: Star Rail launches on Windows, iOS, and Android on April 25th, with PS4 and PS5 versions of the hotly-hyped title coming at an as-yet unannounced date.
