Eternights Will Let You Save Your Date and the World in September

Studio Sai’s stylish dating-sim-slash-action RPG Eternights made a brief appearance at today’s Day of the Devs show, revealing a September release window. We’ve seen only brief updates on the title since its reveal last June, but it’s good to know the release isn’t far off!

While not the first title to blend dating sim elements with RPG genres (Sakura Wars and Persona come to mind), Eternights‘ dark and striking atmosphere blended with dating elements look like it will deliver something fairly unique. The devs estimate an 11–15 hour playtime in general, though that number jumps to 44 hours for completionists.

If you haven’t been following the game, here’s a brief synopsis by the developers:

Eternights is a dating action game, blending a love story with adrenaline-driven combat as you make the most out of life during the apocalypse. Scavenge for supplies, explore dungeons… and go on dates!

One day, something, or someone, has turned humans into dangerous monsters. All that interests them now is violence and power. They are what stand between you, a cure, and the world you want. Most importantly? You’re fighting for more than just your own survival – you are fighting for those you love.

Take a look at some of our recent screenshots below, check out the official Eternights website, and hopefully we will learn more about the game soon! Eternights is coming to PC (both Steam and Epic), PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 sometime in September.
