SEGA and RGG Studio Reveal Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth with Tasteful Nudity

At today’s Xbox Games Showcase, SEGA and RGG Studio shared the first teaser trailer for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, or as I’m going to call it, the game formerly known as Like a Dragon 8. Based on our internal discussions at RPGFan during the showcase, it’s not what we were expecting, and once you see the trailer, you’ll see why:

While the trailer above focuses on Yakuza: Like a Dragon‘s (aka Like a Dragon 7) protagonist, Kasuga Ichiban, this title is going to feature a familiar name as well:

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is a direct sequel to Yakuza: Like a Dragon™ where an unexpected chain of events sets two legendary ex-yakuza, Kasuga Ichiban and Kazuma Kiryu, on a larger-than-life adventure as dual playable protagonists.

Given that Infinite Wealth is described as an RPG adventure title, it should be safe to assume that there will still be RPG-like parties, so I’d think each of the protagonists will have their own party members. Between that and the Florida-esque setting seen in the trailer, color me incredibly fascinated at the direction SEGA and RGG Studio are taking this game. In any case, take a look at new screenshots below, learn more on the game’s official website, and look forward to Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth when it releases in early 2024 on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and PC.

Although, I have to wonder one thing: Given that during this week, we’ve seen new looks at Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and now Infinite Wealth, what are we going to learn at the RGG Summit later this week? Stay tuned!
