During Day 1 of FFXIV Tokyo Fan Festival 2024, producer and director Yoshi-P revealed the latest full trailer of Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail in his opening keynote speech, unveiling what’s to come in summer 2024.

Along with the trailer, several new details were showcased, including the Pictomancer caster job, the Beastmaster limited job, female Hrothgar, lifestyle content (Cosmic Exploration), and new raids such as “Echoes of Vana’diel”, “The Arcadion”, and the “Futures Rewritten” ultimate raid.
On the technical side of things, the team also showed a side-by-side comparison of the graphical update fans can expect from Dawntrail.
Meanwhile, an open beta test on Xbox is slated for February and a previously announced crossover with Final Fantasy XVI is expected to arrive sometime in April.
Another important thing to note is that, for players who take their glamour game seriously, the option to dye two colors on a single piece of equipment was also showcased. I’m already seeing that the dye channels will surely make the next fashion glamour contests more competitive.
