Ubisoft’s 2025 Slate Includes Assassin’s Creed Codename Red

We’re getting the first Assassin’s Creed game set in feudal Japan in the next 13 months, according to Ubisoft’s latest financials.

The French video game publisher revealed in its third-quarter fiscal year 2023 to 2024 report (shared by Gematsu) that it plans to release Assassin’s Creed Codename Red during the FY2024-2025 period, which starts April 1st, 2024, and ends March 31st, 2025.

Ubisoft added that it plans to unveil its FY2025 lineup in May.

Full-year 2024-25
The extent of the FY2024-25 line-up will be revealed in May and will notably include Assassin’s Creed
codename Red and Star Wars Outlaws on the premium side and The Division Resurgence and Rainbow Six Mobile on the free-to-play side.

What is Assassin’s Creed Codename Red?

We first learned about Assassin’s Creed Codename Red in 2022. Details remain scarce; all we know is it’s an open-world action RPG set in feudal Japan, Ubisoft’s Quebec studio is handling development, and it’s coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Check out the 30-second teaser below.
