On this edition of RPGs Coming This Week: The biggest MOBA on the planet goes cozy mode, and an up-and-coming action RPG finally hits the big version 1.0. Let’s get into it!

Am I telling you that there’s a chance to play League in a relaxing way with seriously no chaos involved? Yes, I am. Courtesy of the developers of Graveyard Keeper, long-time fans of League of Legends can escape to the magical world of Bandle City in Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story.

In Bandle Tale, players can create their own cute yordle character. It’s a crafting RPG, so expect to have a cozy time ahead of you. There’s fishes to catch, areas to discover, resources to gather, things to build, plants to grow, dishes to be prepared, parties to throw, and relationships to develop.

The LoL universe has expanded in many ways, but a Stardew Valley-like game was something that I never imagined would happen. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one happy to see Riot Games exploring outside their comfort zone.

Last Epoch (Exiting Early Access) – February 21st (Windows, Linux)

After almost five years, the top-down action RPG Last Epoch is finally graduating from early access. There’s been no shortage of Diablo-likes over the years, but what sets this title apart is a wide range of classes (15 in total), deep (and I mean deep) skill trees, and, importantly, none of the “pay-to-win” design that sunk the likes of Diablo IV.

It’s also quite the looker, artistically speaking. And developer Eleventh Hour Games promises has a content roadmap in place for players that finish the campaign.

Given all that, it’s no surprise that Last Epoch has built up quite the following. The people want looter ARPGs!
