Complete Edition of Shin Megami Tensei V Surfaces

South Korea’s ESRB equivalent just posted (and immediately removed) details about a complete edition of Shin Megami Tensei V.

Gematsu reported that a game titled “Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance” received a rating from the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea. The posting described Vengeance as a complete version of SMTV with additional content and improvements. Here’s hoping it’s real.

Atlus originally released SMTV for the Nintendo Switch in 2021, years after it was revealed in 2017 ahead of the console’s launch. We thought it was worth the wait, and, judging by its sales numbers, so did everyone else.

We don’t know when SMTV: Vengeance will be revealed (assuming it’s real). I suspect it may appear in the rumored Nintendo Direct, and it could come to PC and other consoles.

Expect more RPGFan coverage of SMTV, so stay tuned!
