Unicorn Overlord Has Sold Over 500,000 Copies Globally

ATLUS and Vanillaware have announced that strategy RPG Unicorn Overlord has sold over 500,000 units worldwide since its release last month. The confirmation came via an accolades trailer on ATLUS’ Japanese YouTube channel. Check it out below!

Unicorn Overlord anchors its world on protagonist Alain, prince and son of a kingdom fallen to the brutality of empire. He seeks to unite the five nations of the world against imperialism, bringing rebellion and freedom alongside a host of allies. Within that frame, the game utilises a blend of real-time and turn-based gameplay where players command armies across many battlefields with over 60 unique characters.
