It was blink-and-you’ll-miss-it in the English Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, but it had its own segment in the Japanese version. Check that out below.
It’s worth noting that Trails in the Sky got a Japan-exclusive PlayStation Vita port subtitled FC Evolution. That one featured all kinds of enhancements, including voice acting. The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 1st, on the other hand, is a full-on remake that transforms the game into a (luscious) 3D experience. Let’s hope the localizers preserve the script, though. I’d hate to lose “U-L-T-R-A-V-I-O-L-E-N-C-E.”
Editor’s Note: As an aside, while it’s logical to assume NIS America is handling publishing duties in the West, neither NISA or XSEED Games were shown in the Direct, only Nihon Falcom. So we’ll be curious to see how that plays out.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 1st Media
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 1st launches sometime in 2025 for Nintendo Switch (and presumably other platforms).
