I’m always curious to see tabletop systems as a core pillar of a game’s design and aesthetic. From Crimson Shroud to Citizen Sleeper, it serves as a homage to the past and an interesting evolution from where almost all RPGs are descended, that of the sound of dice clattering and clicking on a table to decide fates. Marisa of Liartop Mountain seems to provide another avenue for interested players to emulate such a style when it releases next year.
Marisa of the Liartop Mountain will be released sometime during 2025 on PC via Steam.
