Escape rooms are intense places that can make or break friend groups. You might have an exceptionally bad time if you’re one of the teenagers in Type-Noise: Shonen Shojo, collaborating with strangers with amnesia to uncover suppressed trauma. If you cautiously want to step into “Noise Scramble City,” you can do that with the game’s recently released demo on Steam.
In line with the demo’s release, check out the second trailer for the puzzle-filled, visual novel adventure:
In the demo, you get to step into the shoes of Hiyori, one of the unlucky teens trying to uncover their “Noise,” or past trauma. Playing as her, you navigate through the aforementioned “Noise Scramble City,” which looks a lot like Tokyo. Hiyori’s a popular content creator who tends to lie, and the puzzles tease just what trauma she has deep down.
If you check out the demo for Type-NOISE: Shonen Shojo, you can see your name in the game’s credits! You have until December 20th to submit a form detailing your experience with the demo.
