The holidays are here, which means RPGs Coming This Week will disappear… until the new year! Barring any last-minute launches, we’ve pretty much run out of noteworthy releases to cover. Though if you think I’ve missed something, please feel free to let me know.

Anyway, without further ado, let’s cast the spotlight on our last two RPGs of 2024. See you all again in 2025!

Flint: Treasure of Oblivion – December 17th (PS5, XSX, Windows)

NOTE: Flint: Treasure of Oblivion was originally scheduled to come out on October 24th, but it was pushed to November 14th, and then, finally, December 17th. You can find our full write-up in our column for the week of October 24th.

Tokyo Clanpool – December 19th (Switch, Windows)

Tokyo Clanpool sure took its sweet time getting here. This dungeon crawler from Compile Heart was originally a Japan-exclusive PlayStation Vita game from 2017 — the very last the studio ever put out on that console, as far as I’ve been able to tell. Seven years later, and an English localization is finally coming this week. Better late than never, I suppose.

PC players should note that Tokyo Clanpool is only coming out on GOG and not Steam. Publisher Eastasiasoft hasn’t explained why, but the hubbub online is it has something to do with the… illicit depiction of underage (or underage-looking) women. Er, yeah, exercise your best judgment with this one.
