The roguelike deckbuilder game Monster Train 2 is on track for a May 21st launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
It’s the follow-up to the roguelike deckbuilder Monster Train, which arrived back in 2020. Check out the release date announcement below.
Today’s Monster Train 2 release date trailer looks to the terrifying arrival of the Titans, an impossibly powerful force fixated on destroying this world. Only by combining the power of Heaven and Hell’s eternal nemeses will you stand to survive the Titan’s onslaught and free Heaven’s throne from their control.
Monster Train 2’s locomotive-sized trove of features includes new playable factions, card types, buff-granting train customization, an Endless Mode, Daily and Dimensional challenges, run mutators, leaderboards and more. Combined with an immense array of cards to build unstoppable decks and synergies with and the series’ signature three-floor battlefield, Monster Train 2’s robust offering ensures newcomers and experienced strategists alike are in for a tense new fight brimming with possibility, excitement and deadly discovery.
