Sea of Stars: Throes of the Watchmaker Free DLC Launches May 20th

Sea of Stars was a special throwback to RPGs of yore when it released in 2023. Featuring the likes of legendary composer Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Cross, Xenogears), the game hit all the right spots. Now, developer Sabotage Studio is treating us with a silly side story in the Throes of the Watchmaker free DLC on May 20th. On what platforms? Why, all of them!

The free DLC is said to contain over 8 hours of content and unlocks after you beat the main game. This new content includes the following:

• A new party member, Arty
• New classes for Valere and Zale
• New dungeons and areas
• New mini-games
• New enemies and bosses
• New puzzles

Throes of the Watchmaker comes after the game’s first set of free DLC, Dawn of Equinox. The developer says this upcoming DLC is a “farewell letter to our dream project,” indicating this will be the end of Sea of Stars. What a ride it has been!
