After a 14 year wait, the Arc the Lad series returned in 2018 on mobile devices with Arc the Lad R. A direct sequel to the second Arc the Lad game, R retcons the rest of the series and follows new hero Halt he attempts to rebuild his life, and the world, following the Great Disaster. While a Japan-only title for the first few years of release, the game entered a closed beta on Android devices on November 19th 2020.
