Breath of Fire III Original Sound Track

Review by · August 27, 2000

Breath of Fire III‘s music is usually described as “modern/jazzy.” With exception to like three tracks, I really didn’t like this OST all that much.

The music is somewhat bland, lacking in intrigue. There is nothing wrong with the jazz genre in my opinion, but some of these tracks were downright boring. However, the ending vocal track is very cool and all the arranged tracks before it were up-to-standard from Capcom too.

Final word(s): this soundtrack is woefully incomplete. Since this review was initially posted, a Breath of Fire series box set was released, and the BoFIII portion of the set is three discs long.
