Seiken Densetsu Original Sound Version

Review by · May 26, 2004

Note: This soundtrack, along with the arranged disc, Seiken Densetsu ~ Let Thoughts Ride on Knowledge, were reprinted into one disc that is generally available. This disc is entitled Seiken Densetsu Sound Collections.

Despite limitations in sound hardware, Kenji Ito’s Seiken Densetsu OSV manages to embrace quality compositions and timeless melodies which will stay engrained in your memory long after experiencing the Gameboy RPG. An unreleased track, Town Music is fairly reminiscent of similar lighthearted themes of the Dragon Quest series, while songs such as Dungeon 2 and Mana’s Temple provide unique melodies which effectively flesh out the game’s mysterious and magical atmosphere. Overall, this is a nostalgic listening experience which Seiken Densetsu fans are sure to enjoy.
