The Legend of Heroes Piano Collection

Review by · August 6, 2000

Being a big piano fan, I really enjoy this CD. However, I can say that the arrangements are nothing special and are “what’s expected” from Falcom.

It seems to me that the same style is used throughout this piano collection…”modern”. No romantic, baroque, or classical, (maybe some impressionist) but mainly modern. However, the music is not all one will find on this CD, oh no. If you stick this CD in your computer, a nice little program will auto-run. This program is a navigator (though you can go through it yourself by exploring the CD). Inside are 60 bitmap files, about 10 WAV files, and about 10 MIDI files. I don’t know what music they’re from, but they’re not the same music that’s on this CD.

The music itself is good, the songs put into this piano collection were well-suited for their part…That’s about all I can say. Once again, I’ll let the samples speak for themselves.
