Valkyrie Profile -Lenneth- Arrange Album

Review by · September 30, 2006

This album is a reprint released six years after its original. Due to the PSP’s remastered sound, Team Entertainment reprinted the OST and Arranged album to Valkyrie Profile, adding the subtitle “Lenneth” and slapping on a new front cover.

The thing I understand least about this reprint was that, even if the sound was remastered for the PSP game, why does that then lead to an arranged soundtrack being remastered? Generally, that wouldn’t make sense. However, this helps prove my theory that Sakuraba’s arranged albums are little more than lengthened versions of the OST tracks.

Considering the obscurity of the old First Smile prints of the Valkyrie Profile CDs, you may want to pick up this one if you’re interested. As for me, I’m still unsure why they reprinted and remastered this album.
