Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Mask of Truth Removed From PlayStation Store

PlayStation owners, I hope you grabbed the Utawarerumono games while you could. Two titles published by Atlus, Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth are no longer available for purchase on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation Vita via the PlayStation Store in western territories.

Atlus confirmed the delisting, stating the licensing rights for both games expired. It is unclear if and when the titles will return to the PlayStation Store. On the bright side, Atlus did publish physical PlayStation 4 copies for both Mask of Deception and Mask of Truth, if you can hunt down a copy. If not, both titles are still available on Steam under publishers DMM GAMES and Shiravune.

But if you really want your Utawarerumono fix on PlayStation 4, the action-brawler entry in the series, Utawarerumono: ZAN , is still available digitally on the PlayStation Store along with the remake of the original game, Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen. Both titles were published for the PlayStation 4 by NIS America.

Hopefully we will see a return of both games to the PlayStation Store sometime in the future. If this intrigues you, check out our reviews for Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth for our thoughts!
