Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin continues to be a success for developer Edelweiss and publishers Marvelous Entertainment and XSEED Games. When we last reported sales in November, the game had passed half a million sales, but as of the end of March 2021, Sakuna was closing in on one million sales.

Marvelous Entertainment reported the new sales figures during their end-of-fiscal-year report. As of March 31st, 2021, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin had sold 950,000 copies in less than five months.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is a hybrid RPG that combines rice farming and platforming elements. The game is available now for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam, and we were quite positive on it in our review.
