Developer Edelweiss and publisher XSEED Games have announced that Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin has officially sold over one million copies around the world. To celebrate, the rice-farming and side-scrolling action mash-up title allows you to interact with and pet dogs and cats in new ways, and has added new support for Simplified Chinese and Latin American Spanish language options. The game is now also available on a new storefront on PC: Epic Games Store. There’s also been a few balancing adjustments to entice players to keep coming back and continue farming, even months after release.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin was originally released in November 2020 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC via Steam, and there is currently a 30% off sale available on all storefronts, at the time of writing, to celebrate the latest sales milestone.
