Square Enix Announces Pre-Orders For Chrono Trigger Jazz Album

Square Enix is prepared to take listeners on a trip down memory lane with the fifth entry in their SQUARE ENIX JAZZ series. On the heels of a tribute to the SaGa franchise, the newest edition will feature reinterpretations of the iconic Chrono Trigger soundtrack.

Arranged by trombone player Eijiro Nakagawa and bassist Ryu Kawamura, the album is composed of 11 tracks that aim to be equal parts nostalgic and fresh.

Pre-orders are now available via the Square Enix Japan webstore for ¥3,300 (roughly $28.59 USD) before the tentative release date of January 26th, 2022.
