The rhythm game-JRPG hybrid Keylocker finally has a release window: late this summer for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Shown during the latest ID@Xbox Showcase, the announcement trailer (below) makes the Mario & Luigi and Chrono Trigger influences readily apparent… along with everything else the game has going on (there’s a lot). Keylocker was the subject of a Crowdfunding Chronicles column back in 2021. Its Kickstarter page indicates that it met stretch goals to release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Right now, however, it’s only confirmed to be coming out on XSX and PC late this summer.
