Nintendo Life recently sat down with the game, and we’ve learned so much about all the great quality of life updates that await new and returning members of BLADE.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is chock full of changes, both big and small. Here’s a list of the things we know:
Improved resolution
Improved UI
New options to adjust the sound levels (and adjust the Skell flight music)
Instantly perform an art again with the new Quick Cast feature
New additions to character customization
Change party members at any time (no more hoofing it halfway across New LA looking for the perfect HB)
Party members gain experience even when they aren’t in the party
Affinity levels up faster than the original
Change the time whenever you want instead of at select locations like in the original
Access FrontierNav through a separate menu
Improved Follow Ball to guide you for main and side quests
You can collide with cars and Skells instead of fade right through them in New LA
No more BLADE or Division levels – rewards are now moved to surveying Mira
