Falcom Special Box ’96

Review by · August 6, 2000

Falcom Special Boxes: Each one varies in content. This one’s content, however, is not so hot for the English-only fan. The first 2 of these 3 CDs are Drama Discs…Japanese Dialogue for almost an hour per disc. Each drama disc gets a piano track in the middle and a vocal track at the end, each being very good…Even the Japanese dialogue tracks aren’t THAT bad considering there is a lot of feeling in them.

However, the third disc is really where it’s at…MUSIC! And it is very GOOD music, might I add. Most of the songs on disc three are unreleased anywhere else, as they are all kinds of different arrangements and lost tracks and what have you. The drama discs, which can’t be found anywhere else (not that I care because I don’t know Japanese), also make this one “Special” Box. It can no longer be found at online stores, so check out online auctions!
