Tales of Arise Celebrates a Whopping 2 Million Units Sold

Tales of Arise has sold over two million units worldwide, making it the third best-selling game in the series per the latest public sales figures, and very close to surpassing Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Vesperia, which occupy first and second place respectively.

This is a wild and welcome development. Reception to the game has been warm from fans and critics alike; our readers decided it was last year’s best RPG, and our own Izzy and Sam each wrote at length about the game’s merits. I think I expected it would sell really well, but not quite at this magnitude.
