Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent‘s latest limited-time event is a crossover with Bravely Default, another franchise by Team Asano, a group of developers within Square Enix known for making RPGs with… creative titles. Until November 1st, you’ll be able to collect four different characters from the series: Edea and Agnes from the original Bravely Default and Elvis and Adelle from Bravely Default II. Check out the trailer below and read on to find out when and how to get these fine heroes of light to join your party.

Elvis is available in Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent as soon as you finish his Traveler’s Story prologue, though you’ll first need to clear the “Master of Fame: Chapter 1” and “The Wandering Blacksmith” quests in the Nameless Town. To get Adelle, recruit her through her Chosen Traveler Guiding Light. You’ll have to wait a bit longer to nab the other two; Edea is set to show up on October 12th and Agnus on October 19th. Remember that the crossover ends on November 1st, so don’t dilly-dally!

This free-to-play RPG is out now on iOS and Android. Peep the official website for more details.

In case you missed it, we gave our hands-on impressions on Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent earlier in the year. Producer Hirohito Suzuki graciously answered our questions on the game in an interview a few months ago that you should definitely check out. Also, I have it on good authority that we’re putting out even more coverage of the game in the near future, so stay tuned.

Oh, yeah, and Octopath Traveler II got announced. What a world.
