Rhythm Encounter 139 – Indie RPG Music Spotlight

Rhythm Encounter 139 Indie RPG Music with art from Ikenfell, Virgo Versus the Zodiac, and To the Moon

The indie RPG scene is ever expanding, and while indie RPG music makes its way into many a Rhythm Encounter episode, we wanted to make an episode just about celebrating the music from indie devs. We enjoyed it so much, we may even make this a regularly recurring topic! But, for now, come journey through a wide variety of music from some of our favorite indie games, showcasing many types of instruments, vocals, and musical stylings!

Featuring: Mike Salbato, Audra Bowling, Lucas Greene, Neal Chandran; Edited by Paul Dennis

Mike has been with RPGFan nearly since its inception, and in that time has worn a surprising number of hats for someone who doesn't own a hatstand. Today he attempts to balance his Creative Director role with his Editor-in-Chief status. Despite the amount of coffee in his veins, he bleeds emerald green.

OMG so excited to find this podcast and also thank you so much for all the kind words about my music for Aveyond... and Neal is right, Motoi Sakuraba is a HUGE INFLUENCE on my compositions. As well as Noriyuki Iwadare, Koichi Sugiyama, and of course, Nobuo Uematsu. I continue to make music, sfx and voiceovers for the industry... a childhood dream I somehow made a reality with lots of effort, luck and help along the way! I would be happy to come on as a guest anytime to talk music.
