RPGFan Games of the Year 2020: Editors’ Awards

RPGFan Games of the Year 2020 Editors' Awards

We’re a bit into February, and RPGFan hasn’t posted Games of the Year yet? Wow, it’s almost like we completely changed every underpinning that the site ran on for over 20 years in 2020. Wild.

Jokes aside, it’s finally time to celebrate the gaming goodness that an otherwise [choose your adjective] year brought us. As much as everyone went through in 2020, it was a surprisingly good year for gaming? And thank goodness it was! If you had any doubts about the surprising bounty of excellent RPGs, graphic adventures, and visual novels that were released last year, it’s notable that at RPGFan we had one of our best editor turnouts of all time*, with sixteen RPGFan people sharing their favorite games of the year.

But enough from me! Check out the menu below, browse everyone’s awards, and look for our RPGFan Games of the Year 2020 Overall Awards soon!

*If you’re curious, the only years that we had more than 16 were in 2000 and 2003, and we’ve been running this feature since 1999.

Mike Salbato

Mike has been with RPGFan nearly since its inception, and in that time has worn a surprising number of hats for someone who doesn't own a hatstand. Today he attempts to balance his Creative Director role with his Editor-in-Chief status. Despite the amount of coffee in his veins, he bleeds emerald green.
