Pokémon Sword & Shield represent the start of the 8th generation in the series. Set in the new region of Galar – modeled after the look and feel of several parts of Europe – this entry faced some criticism upon launch for not including all 800+ Pokémon, but still features hundreds of monsters to put in your pocket, and a bounty of quality of life improvements, and all-new features like camping and Poké Jobs.
